Private label rights (PLR) content has lost a bit of luster due to fears about the search engines’ duplicate content filters. To borrow a quote from Mark Twain, reports of duplicate content filters are greatly exaggerated. We’ll leave the reasons why (along with glaring examples) for another
post.
Today, I’m going to give you four powerful ideas for using PLR content to expand your online business. You’ll notice from the list below that only one of the strategies has anything to do with the search engines. All of them address your audience’s insatiable desire for high-quality information.
With that in mind, let’s get our creative juices flowing.
#1 – Email Sequences And E-courses
Email sequences and e-courses are fantastic marketing tools because they’re automated. Once you load them into your autoreponder, each message is sent out automatically according to whatever schedule you’ve set. The problem is, writing each message takes time, especially if your sequence or e-course is long.
High-quality PLR content is an ideal solution. It lets you avoid writing the individual messages and saves an enormous amount of time. That means you’ll be able to create sequences and e-courses for several markets simultaneously. Imagine having sequences on foreclosures, quilting, dieting, and arthritis chugging along on autopilot – each of them promoting affiliate products. What would having dozens of sequences do for your online income?
#2 – Network Of Content Sites
A lot of marketers launch small sites to generate Adsense revenue. Their thinking goes something like this: “If a single site can earn $5 a day, 20 sites will make $100 a day. And 100 sites will make…” And then, they go on to write the content (or hire others to do it) for their hundreds of sites.
First, writing that volume of material would take a small army of people. Second, search engines like sites that grow. That means you’ll need to feed your sites an ongoing diet of content.
Again, PLR material comes to the rescue. You can raise a batch of niche sites in a single afternoon. If you’re using Wordpress as the backend CMS, you can even schedule your posts. And while Adsense is a good way to make money online, your content sites can be put to much better use. They can function as “feeder” sites that link to your “money” sites (more on this in the future).
Here is a list of some very high quaitly Private Label Content sites that you could use to produce content for your site:
Easy Plr- Is my personal favorite and they offer topics in different niches from marketing, cooking, health, personal development and they even have e-courses and special reports that you could use.
Yummy Plr- is another great private label content site that you could get plr on cooking, recipes for any holiday and list continues to go on.
All private label content – is a great one that offers memberships on just about any niche from internet marketing plr to very focused niches in health.
Natural Mom Plr- Is great if you have natural product related sites that range anywhere from green living and natural parenting and natural living private label content.
Plr Food Content- Is another based around the food niche and cooking and recipes.
Special report club- Would be great if you are looking to supply you site with fresh reports and comes stocked with blog posts and articles ready to go.
Niche Content – A great one that also gives a large variety of private label content that you could use for your site, blog or whatever.
#3 – Information Products
Writing an ebook or report is usually a time-intensive project that takes a healthy dose of patience and diligence. Depending on its size, completing it can take weeks, even months. PLR content can
help in a few ways. First, use the material to fill the bulk of your information product and sprinkle your own thoughts along the way. Second, use it for occasional chapters to add heft to your own content. Third, batch a group of related articles together to form a free report; place links throughout your report that encourage readers to buy your ebook.
#4 – Membership Sites
In some markets, membership sites can survive almost entirely on PLR content (as long as the material is high-quality). This is especially true if you’re using a very low price point or a pricing structure based on lifetime access.
Personally, I would only suggest using PLR material as a supplement to unique content for your membership sites. Having said that, the material makes it relatively simple to launch and maintain several of them at the same time.
A quick side note: everything that I’m sharing with you today is under the assumption that the PLR content you’re using is high-quality. There are a lot of people selling material. Some of it reads as if it were written by folks who have a “less than perfect” grasp of the English language. Make sure the content you use is good, even if that means paying a few dollars extra. You’ll find that it’s well worth it in the long run.
