The Three P’s Of Business.

I found myself the other night going through a couple of thoughts that have gone through my mind and things about my business mostly. I realized that over the past couple of years of so of working on online and teaching people about internet marketing and continually learning new things myself. I came to the conclusion that running a successful business online takes a lot of heart. But mainly it takes three things that I call the three p’s of working for your self and making the decision to go solo. You might ask well what exactly are the three p’s that I am referring to.
Well the three p’s are what I call the main drive behind something that pushes you to move forward no matter how many times you fall. It is what gives you the edge to try new things continually over and over again until you are able to find what works for you.
Then sticking to that one thing and making it work through all the sweat and tears that you put into. Having the control and long term vision to see things through the long haul and knowing that within in yourself that it will work out in the end because you have faith that it will.
These three P’s include:
- Persistence
- Patience
- Performance
Patience is the one thing that many people lack a lot of. However If you are going to run a business and go into with your eyes closed and not realize. All the time and research that It takes to bring your dream to life, then you are selling yourself short and not giving yourself the true chance that it deserves. By sticking to just one thing and making it work. Patience is something that can be learned and although one may not see results right away in their business, they need to know that if they keep patience as one of three p’s of running a business then you know in time you will have success.
Persistence is what runs the business and the ultimate force behind whether you continue with something or not. When times get hot in your business and sometimes every thing that you do seems to not be working. That is when you continue with persistence and keep trying something new and learning new things, and that one thing adds with the next thing and finally one plus one equals two. Get it, persistence is what keeps you doing things and completing things even in the hard and beginning times of your business.
Performance is the love you put into your business, this is what shows in the product you produce. Do you put all your heart into your business or do you just fumble along and put only half your foot forward afraid to take it to the next step. Performance involves taking risks and trying new things in order that you can improve your existing state of your business and making it the best that you yourself can make it for your self and for those that listen to you.
I hope that you follow the three p’s of patience, persistence, and performance. And make it work to the best that you can and put all of yourself into your business and stop cutting your self short and realize that with a business comes responsibility and attitude on your part to make what you want to happen to come true.

5 Tips to Help You Build Buzz around Your Business
As a business owner, one of the best things you can do for your business is to learn new publicity and promotion techniques. If no one knows your business exists, they cannot buy anything from you!
Here are a few business promotion ideas to help you build buzz around your business:
1. Toot Your Own Horn – Many people are very modest, and if you happen to be this type of person, it can almost seem like bragging to let others know about your accomplishments. When you are creating a press release, a media page or a media kit, tooting your own horn is a necessity. If you don’t let people know about your achievements, they’ll assume there’s nothing worth knowing.
2. Send Out A Press Release – Don’t know how to write a press release? They’re actually very easy! There is a standard structure that needs to be followed, but once you write one or two, you’ll understand the method. For a free cut and paste press release template, visit www.powerpublicityandpromotions.com. Press releases can be sent to your local media outlets, such as newspapers, magazines, and even radio and television stations. But don’t stop there; distribute them online to increase your exposure AND the links coming into your website.
3. Distribute Content Everywhere – The more content you have out there, the more that can be introduced to your site. You can accomplish this by writing articles and submitting them to article distribution sites, becoming a contributing blogger to several blogs, and even sending query letters to magazines and newspapers, asking if they would be interested in publishing your story.
4. Stay In Touch – Starting a mailing list is the easiest way to do this. You’ll need an autoresponder service, which will do the actual mailings for you. You can even set them up months in advance. The autoresponder service will walk you through setting up a sign up box that you can place on your website or blog. When one of your readers fills out their name and address, they’ll be automatically added to your mailing list.
5. Recruit Help – Starting an affiliate program can increase your sales and help you with your online business promotions. When people join your affiliate program, they are acting as your virtual sales force. They will advertise your products and services for you. When they bring in a sale, you give them a certain percentage back in the form of a commission.
Many people are looking for tips on how to get free publicity. It’s important to remember that even the things that can be done for “free” will cost you time and energy. It’s very important to track your results so that you know what is bringing you the most traffic and where your time is best spent.
