Finding Advertisers For Your Blog
If you want to make money from your blog, you need to plan how you intend to do it before you begin posting. Most bloggers spend an enormous amount of time and effort writing and marketing their blogs without giving any real thought to how they plan to monetize their work. That’s a mistake that leads to frustration.
There are a lot of different blogging revenue models. Today, I’m going to show you how to create a blog that advertisers will fight to claim space on. I’ll also explain how to find those advertisers and whet their appetite.
Stick To Your Niche
Years ago, sponsors wanted exposure to raw traffic. If you could deliver enough eyeballs, they wanted space on your blog. That’s changing. Advertisers are realizing that blogs that are tightly focused on their core topic may deliver fewer eyeballs, but the readers are far more targeted. As a result, sponsors enjoy higher conversions. Pick your niche and stick to it.
Say Goodbye To Adsense
Adsense can be a fantastic way to generate income from your blog. Unfortunately, it can also become an obstacle to growing your advertising revenue down the road. First, it’s too easy to rely on Adsense as your primary blogging income. That makes it hard to wean yourself from it. Second, it lowers the perceived value of your advertising spots. A small 1-ad or 2-ad block may be fine, but multiple 4-ad Adsense blocks can make your blog seem unprofessional to potential advertisers.

Targeted Search Traffic Is Key
Blogs are especially well-suited for attracting organic search traffic. Before you begin writing blog posts, identify the keywords that are being searched most often by your audience. Include those keywords in your titles, tags, and throughout your content. Once your blog begins ranking for them, you can show potential advertisers who want to reach your audience.
For example, suppose that you maintain a blog that is focused on mountain bikes. Let’s further suppose that, after some effort, you rank in the top 3 on Google for the keyword “discount hardtail mountain bikes.” Hundreds of businesses that sell hardtail mountain bikes would love exposure to that search traffic through advertising on your blog.
Create An Advertising Package
For potential sponsors who find your blog (as opposed to your approaching them), create a page that provides the information they need to make a decision. For example, list your available ad space sizes, advertising rates, traffic stats, and visitor demographic data. Include the number of RSS readers, notable search rankings, and even Alexa information. By providing these details, you’ll make it easy for sponsors to contact you to reserve ad spots.
Approach Smaller Advertisers First
If you’re just starting your blog, you probably won’t be able to attract the largest companies in your space. Start with the smaller companies and offer lower rates. Even though you’ll generate less advertising revenue in the beginning, you can raise your rates as your traffic grows. Over time, the smaller sponsors will be replaced by larger sponsors at much higher rates.
Don’t wait until you have hundreds of readers to plan your blog revenue model. Think about how you want to generate income as you’re creating your blog. If you choose to pursue the advertising revenue model, plan to attract direct sponsors in lieu of Adsense. There are many popular blogs which generate six-figure incomes through private advertisers. With time, effort, and planning, you can join their ranks.

How To Create A Blog: The Quick-Start Guide
Blogging has become one of the most popular free internet marketing methods used today. Not only is it easy to publish content, but it also creates an instant and ongoing channel of dialogue with your audience.
Plus, by using the right plugins, you can expand your search engine exposure and generate traffic from a growing number of keywords.
Today, I’m going to explain each step involved in creating your own blog. We’ll focus on using Wordpress because it is the most popular blogging platform and the easiest to work with.
Step #1: Install Wordpress On Your Domain
There are two ways to install the Wordpress blogging software on your website. The first method is the easiest, but requires that your website host provides access to the Fantastico module through cPanel.
Login to your cPanel and click the Fantastico icon. On the left side of the following screen, click the Wordpress link (located under the “Blogs” section). Then, click “New Installation” on the right side.
On the following screen, you’ll be asked to provide a number of details, such as your preferred location for your blog, username, password, and email address. Once you have provided this information, click the “Install Wordpress” button.
The next screen will ask you to confirm the installation. Click the “Finish Installation” button.
If your host does not provide the Fantastico module through cPanel, visit Wordpress.org to download their blogging software to your computer. Then, review Wordpress’s installation instructions to manually install the software to your website.
Step #2: Select A Wordpress Theme
Even though the default installation includes a couple of simple themes, you’ll probably want to upload a theme that has a more stylish or professional appearance. There are hundreds of thousands of free and paid Wordpress themes online.
Once you find a theme that suits your preference, download it to your computer. Then, extract the files (they’re typically batched in a .zip file) and upload them to your “/wp-content/themes” directory using an FTP client.
After you have uploaded the entire batch of files, login to your Wordpress blog’s admin panel. Select “Design” to view the uploaded theme. Then, activate it.
Step #3: Install Important Plugins
Plugins are batches of code that add new levels of functionality to your blog. Some are more popular than others. For example, the Akismet and All-In-One SEO Pack plugins are two of the most popular among dedicated bloggers. Installing them is similar to installing a Wordpress theme.
Once you’ve chosen a plugin to install, download it to your computer. Extract the files from the .zip and FTP them to your “/wp-content/plugins” directory. Login to your admin panel and choose “Plugins” from your Dashboard. Then, locate the uploaded plugin and activate it.
Step #4: Start Blogging
Once you have installed the Wordpress software along with your chosen theme and plugins, you can immediately begin blogging. Navigate to your login page at domainname.com/wp-admin/ and click the “New Post” button. Once you’ve finished writing a post, click the “Publish” button. Your post will be available on your blog for your entire audience to enjoy.
Marketing Through Blogging
Blogs will continue to be one of the most important online marketing strategies. They can play a key role in establishing your presence in your chosen market while building a loyal readership among your visitors. If harnessed correctly, they can be used to launch products, encourage your affiliates, and support your search engine optimization strategies.
Creating your own blog is simple, even if it seems intimidating at first. Use the steps I’ve described above to install Wordpress onto your domain. Then, get started blogging. Once you do, you’ll wonder why you waited so long.

What is Blogging?
If you’re asking yourself, “what is blogging,” then you’ve probably heard this buzzword in conversations with friends, family, and even on the news!
Blogs are an amazing way to share information, give opinions, and make some great money.
Blogging actually started as a way for people to catalog their visits to different websites. They would talk about the interesting things they found and link to the sites.
These became increasingly popular, and eventually became sort of a personal diary for some people.
Many bloggers also started creating informative blogs in different niches and now pull in amazing part or full-time incomes!
Blogs are great because they create loyalty from the visitors. Once people start enjoying the things you are writing, the chances are good that they will come again and again to see what you have to say.
As you gain more followers and add more content you will probably start to rank highly in the search engines.
This is a good thing because it means that more people will be able to find you. As you can probably tell, when you have advertisements on a popular blog it can generate some amazing passive income!
So, hopefully after reading this you have decided that you want to become a blogger too.
The trouble is that there are some technical things that go along with setting up your own blog, and it can be difficult to choose something to blog about.
Not everything will be profitable, so if making money is your goal then you need to focus on the right topics and setting up your blog the right way to pull in income.
When I got started blogging I was very worried about all of the things above! I had to find a way to eliminate the steep learning curve.
Thankfully, I stumbled upon The Niche Blogger
The first thing that got me was the fact that it was created by a mother who is just like me.
She makes it very clear that if you follow her instructions and focus, you may be able to make the same level of income she does.
The next thing that got me was the fact that the price was so low. It really is a no-brainer when you consider the amazing, life-changing, value that you get from having expert advice on setting up your blog, choosing a profitable niche, and making money online.
I highly recommend this site if you’ve decided that after learning the answer to “what is blogging?,” that this is the thing for you!

Viral Tweets , Viral Marketing Product Is an Easy Way to Gain New Clients
People look around for good marketing tools to help spread the word about what they do and the Twitter service is gaining a lot of momentum ground as one of the most popular ways to market your online business.
For those looking to gain more clients, Twitter is an awesome way to do so. The best part is that it really isn’t all that hard and doesn’t take a ton of time or money to do so.
Go Viral With This Twitter Marketing Software!
Maybe you just want to reach more people, or perhaps you are in a situation where you want to make sure that the people around you understand what it is you do in order to help them decide if they can use your product or services. In any case, have a look at the growing popularity of Twitter.
A combination of a chat or instant messaging service and a blog, Twitter is a great way to gain a broader audience. Simply by being yourself and showing other what it is you do via tweets (messages) or from word of mouth from current customers, you stand the chance of gaining more clients.
The thing about Twitter is that the abbreviated length can do you a great service. You have the chance to convey the information that you need to get across without being too wordy or having potential clients get distracted while looking at your website. Because of this short and to the point way of communicating you have the ability to pique your potential client’s interest so that they will click your link to learn more. Sending them back to your website to learn more about you, the service you provide or the product you sell is what you’re after here.
You also have the ability to send potential clients to specific areas of your website in order to find the information they need. This will save them time and that’s always a plus. They want specific information and if you can give it to them with a few words and a link to the direct page on your site with this information, they will love you for it. For instance, if you’re a service provider, the next time someone asks you what your rates are, you can send them directly to your rates page to find the answers they need immediately.
After you’ve been on Twitter for awhile you will start to see the word of mouth concept flying around everywhere. If one of your current customers is a member of Twitter and you’ve just returned an awesome project to them, especially if they happen to be chatting on Twitter when they get the email, they will more than likely sing your praises to their followers. Twitter has quickly become a place where many business owners go to ask for recommendations of service providers for certain tasks they need completed. You’ll even find some businesses recruiting writers, web designers, blog installers and more when they need something done. Twitter has a viral nature and quickly your name and what you do can be passed on to many people.
If you contribute to conversations and let people know you are out there, you will find that your tweets as well as your website URL will be passed around and shared. Make sure that you take advantage of this positive way to get your name out there. Many people use Twitter, and you’ll find that this familiarity is one thing that can help you distinguish yourself from the herd.

How To Use Social Networking To Boost Site Exposure Part:ONE
In the beginning, there were search engines. Some, like Google, chose the minimalist approach of delivering only search results to their users (though that has changed dramatically in recent years). Others like MSN and Yahoo! took a completely different path.
They chose to provide their users with a menu of options, including chat features, maps, weather, and a plethora of other tools. For online marketers and site operators, they’re considered one of the most effective resources for free exposure and traffic.
During the past few years, a new phenomenon has emerged: social networking. Websites such as MySpace, Facebook, and LinkedIn connect people into broader bands of like-minded networks. In so doing, they threaten to usurp the role of the search engines.
Today, we’re going to briefly explore how the social networking trend gained momentum so quickly. I’ll explain how savvy marketers are using the social media sites as one of their newest marketing strategies. Finally, I’ll describe a few tools that will allow you to leverage these sites for increased exposure to your own.
Rise Of Social Networking
Despite what a lot of marketers believe, online social networking has actually existed for over a decade. Arguably, it began when Classmates.com launched in 1995. Over the next few years, they were followed by Six Degrees Of Separation, Circle Of Friends, and Friendster. MySpace transformed the field when it launched in 2003. The following year, Facebook was founded.
The power behind these social networking sites - and the potential they hold for online marketers - lies in their ability to aggregate targeted sects of the public. Not only can these diverse audiences be segmented based upon demographics, shared interests, and other aspects, but they represent connected communities.
It didn’t take long for marketers to notice the potential.
Basics Of Social Networking Marketing
Marketing on social media sites requires a subtle, rather than aggressively promotional, approach. Remember, we’re not talking about spending thousands of dollars on media banner buys that canvas MySpace. You can do that on any online property. The true value of social networking sites lies in the communities in which you immerse yourself and the potential reach they represent.
It’s a matter of establishing yourself as an authority in your field, adding value to the community, and directing those who are in your network to your websites.
For example, let’s assume that you manage a website that sells parts and accessories for Ford Mustangs. You’ll have no trouble finding a social networking community that is filled with Mustang enthusiasts. If you brashly promote your site and products, you’ll lose the community’s attention and likely gain their derision. However, if you answer questions for others, provide short tutorials, and even informative videos, you’ll be considered a valued resource.
Your profile on the social media properties should include links to your site (in this case, your Ford Mustang site). As your perceived value within the social networking community rises, more people will read your profile and visit your site.
In other words, social networking is about creating relationships with those in your market. That means you’ll need to stay active and connected within the community.
Tools Of The Trade
As the options and features for each social media site have expanded, a number of tools have been designed that can help you harness them. An in-depth look at each of these tools is beyond the scope of today’s post, of course. But, I’ll introduce you to a few of the applications that have been developed for Facebook:
Facebook Beacon: This tool will automatically link to your website from other Facebook members’ profile pages when they buy something from you.
FeedBurner: FeedBurner has been around for years. This is a tool created specifically for Facebook users. By installing it onto your profile, it will update every time you post to your website’s blog.
QOOP: You can use this application to transfer the pictures on your Facebook profile to posters, t-shirts, coffee mugs, and other items that promote your business or site.
Getting Started With Social Networking
It’s worth emphasizing that marketing on social media sites should be one part of a larger strategy. It should blend in with your search engine optimization strategies; it should support your video marketing, which we discussed recently; and it should help build your affiliate base (if you’re taking that route).
To get started, choose a platform that offers exposure to your targeted audience. Depending upon your product or website, you might be better served by focusing upon MySpace rather than Facebook. Next, set aside the time (or pay someone else) to create a significant amount of content or useful tools directed at the community you’re targeting. Then, get involved in the community by becoming a valued resource in your field.
Marketing on social media sites is about prying open different points of access to your audience. If you follow the tips I’ve just given you, you’ll enjoy additional exposure for your site, a boost in opt-ins, and increased sales.
Product Reviews will bring Traffic

Do Internet Marketing Product Review’s Help with Marketing?
The Internet is a great place for anyone to get information on just about anything. Students use the Internet to get information that they need to do their schoolwork. Hobbyists go online to find patterns and compare notes with others who share in their craft. And smart shoppers go online to research products before buying.
Product reviews are highly sought after online. Whether a shopper is looking for information to use in buying offline or wants to make a purchase online, a product review can tell her what she needs to know. Sites that exclusively feature product reviews get lots and lots of traffic. But can product reviews benefit an online marketer?
Reviews of online marketing Products
Having other people review your product can be scary. What if they don’t like it? Won’t that doom you to a future of no sales ever again? That’s highly unlikely, and if they do like it, you could experience a huge boost in sales.
There is certainly no shortage of negative product reviews online. But by being proactive, we can have some measure of control over how our products are portrayed. For instance, if we contact popular bloggers in our field and ask them to review a product for us, they will probably start out with a good impression of us and our products.
There’s always a chance that the reviewer will be unimpressed once she uses the product. But that good impression we made will usually lead to at least a neutral review. And we can use any constructive criticism received to improve our products, making them better for the next review.
Reviewing Products on Your Site
If you run a blog or informational website, product reviews make for great content. They tend to attract lots of traffic, and that traffic can lead to profits.
In order to get the most out of product reviews, it’s important to have a niche and stick with it. This will ensure that the traffic that comes to your site is targeted. Once they’re there, you could make money by presenting affiliate products that are likely to be of interest to them.
If you can become an affiliate for the product you’re reviewing, that’s great. But be sure to give an honest opinion even if you do stand to gain from a sale. This will help you gain the trust of your audience, and trust is essential in getting sales, even if they are through affiliate links.
Whether someone else is reviewing your product or vice versa, product reviews are great for marketing. They provide useful information to the reader, bring targeted traffic to the website, and give the product and business exposure. It’s a winning situation for everyone involved.
