Search Engine Optimization for dummies
Welcome back!
I was thinking today back to the time when I had such a hard time wrapping my head around all that Search engine Optimization Stuff and how much money I would have had to pay out, just to get good search engine rankings!
Well I said you know what to that and taught my self search engine optimization, I did not have the resources at the time to pay some huge corporation or even some person hundreds of dollars to just optimize just one page for me……….
Search engine Optimization involves being able to have your sites rank highly on the first pages for a specific key phrase or word. It involves being able to give great content that is unique and at the same time is relevant enough to the online search. In Return the Engines such as Google, Ask, and Yahoo will give your pages top priority over your competition.
In order to do this you need to know exactly what goes into producing and making sites that are relevant enough that Google will want to place your pages first.
Some key things that you would want to look into to make your pages relevant are:
Keywords and Key phrases- keywords are the words your target market is searching for key phrases would be 2 or more of those key words together.
For example: keyword would be “dogs” and key phrase “dog training at home”
You can find key words and key phrases by using the Google Free keyword tool
Title Tags and Description Tags is another Basic Seo Method.
You should always give each page a specific title and description. By doing this the search engines will know what your page is about and give you a higher ranking. Because once again we are trying to make our pages as relevant as possible to the online search.
For example: In the picture Below I am using the All in one Seo Plugin for Wordpress. It will allow you to add
The Title, description and keyword tags to your pages with out having to mess with all that code and stuff. You can get the All in one SEO Plugin here!
These two things can be used when you Really new to Seo would like to start seeing some measurable results over a period of time.

Thank you for this post. I’m learning SEO too. Like you I feel like I would pay any amount for someone to do this for me, especially with my new Life Coaching site, however I don’t have the money and I’m learning some technique that I’m hoping will help me. So far so good I think.

Im having a lot of trouble with your blog loading lately. Intermittant, and goes to a page could not be found every so often. Hope there isnt any problems.

To attract the readers with fun element is the basic movement. However, it is not enough. Consistent Marketing approaches of websites owners are very important. It is not an easy piece of job but requires dedicated working.
