I had the privilege last week of listening to some awesome information on search engine optimization by sugarraee Hoffmann. This woman knows her stuff when it comes to seo and in this online free webinar, she discussed wordpress seo and how to go about getting better rankings in the search engines by optimizing the backend of your blog.

Yes, optimization of blogs is not only about getting the right keywords, listing in directories and quality content. It also involves organizing the files and making sure the Google bots know exactly how to and where to find your content. Because if they are confused about your content and where to find it. Then you will have problems with the proper indexing of your pages and having things you don’t want indexed - indexed.

That is why Michael graywolf has made this awesome video explaining why you need to not allow or let the search engines no-follow certain categories and archives on your pages and backend of your blog.
