The Power of Opt-in lists.

Ezine and using an opt-in list is something that has been around now for some time on the internet. And many marketers know that this is the way to go if you plan to really market you services online.

Newsletter Publishing is basically an ezine which is an electronic magazine or basic newsletter that people can subscribe to. Subscribers usually opt in – by an opt-in box placed in a noticeable location on your site. Opting in means they find you and subscribe to your newsletter. This method is not just randomly sent out to email lists, but to people who want to continue to receive information from you about information they are seeking. It is a great way to remind people of your products and services and keeps it in their reach.

Newsletter or ezine is to be kept as something informative and not just some sales pitch on every publishing. But should be used as a tool to position yourself as an expert in your niche, some great things you could use to add to your list could include:

1.    Give away freebies, like e-books and e-classes as a free gift to your subscribers

2.    Add interactive bits like polls and surveys of the reader base

3.    Enhance your ezine with plr and other original articles

4.    Share product reviews and links to other informative sites for your readers

5.    Keep an eye on industry related news and share and discuss it with your readers

6.    Sponsor ads with other like topic ezine publishers to grow your subscriber base
