Finding a Mentor or Mentor Group is a great way to build relationships over the internet. Networking is has always been a surviving factor for those that want to make a living online. And has been a driving force over the past couple of years. The whole web 2.0 social networking has become so mainstream over the internet that who would not want to figure out a way to make money in it. Some of the benefits that comes from logging into forums and memberships sites is two fold on both ends. I personally love mommasterminds which is a forum that has helped me to learn alot in a short period of time during the past two years. I highly recommend them.

Benefits include:

- a mentor serves as a teacher or trusted counselor
- start by knowing yourself and what you want out of life and your business, how can your mentor help you grow and improve
- ask around, who has inspired others that you have met on your path to business
- search in the right places, where would someone doing what you want to do be found at
- have a purpose and make it clear to the mentor what you want to achieve
- think about the characteristics your mentor or teacher should have
- don’t be afraid to approach someone, even if you think they are “out of your league” many people are willing to help and happy to find that they inspire others
- a mentor doesn’t necessarily need to be older than you, that is a common misconception peers are perfectly good mentors
- make the relationship a chance for growth for both you and mentor, find ways to work together and help each other and learn together

-Network with people in the same niche as you and learn from them
